Does this setting powder actually keep makeup in place all day?

The formula is designed for extended wear, and the dual-layer structure — a loose powder base for maximum lock combined with a pressed powder top — delivers consistent hold through full work days, workouts, and humid conditions. Verified buyers with 8+ hour wear report no fading or creasing.

Will it look cakey or heavy on the skin?

No. The ultra-fine formula blurs pores and smooths texture while staying weightless. Glamour's Creative Director described a 'soft, blurred finish' with no heaviness, consistent with feedback from buyers across skin types.

Is the quality worth the $7–9 price point?

Glamour (Condé Nast) named it Best Drugstore Powder 2026 at $9 — placing it among 21 products tested by the publication's beauty team. It was the only SHEIN-owned product selected in that roundup.

How do you use the two-part duo correctly?

The pressed powder top layer provides light daytime coverage and works well for touch-ups throughout the day. The loose powder in the lower compartment delivers maximum-lock setting — tap off excess before applying the loose layer to avoid buildup.

Does it leave a grey cast under the eyes?

The translucent formula is designed to set without altering skin undertone. Applied sparingly under the eyes, it does not produce visible ashiness — the pink-tinted pressed powder shade is the recommended choice for brightening the under-eye area specifically.

Review: this thing is so awesome an ridiculous quality for the money. the powder fills in fine lines and sets well and the case is sturdy. it feels fantastic on the skin too! the bottom powder container does have the ability to twist and block the holes so it doesn't get all over everything. highly recommend. added a pic of the ingredients in case you wanna look over them for allergies! please like if this helps 💗
