Review: Feminism can give us an insight to society because conflict and inequality between men and women (in work, wages, power and rights). Feminism shows how gender inequality is perpetuated through social structures, cultural norms and power dynamics. Women in the work place can often face barriers to advancement, which prevents them from reaching better opportunities and positions. Women may also experience wage discrimination, they earn less than men for doing the same type of job. In terms of power and rights, women become underrepresented in political decision making, they'll face legal or social restrictions on their own freedom.
