Review: Fantastic to use in ceramics, but I guess they would come in handy in many different arts and crafts. Gives you a perfect oval shape to cut around, the smaller one perfect for an incense stick holder, the larger excellent for plates, or can be used to help shape an oval plate or trinket dish. I also bought the circle set, out of the two sets, the oval ones are made out of thinner balsa wood. I would highly recommend these to potters, and artists and crafters alike.
