Review: I read a frustrated review from a customer thinking thise gel plate wont work. They work brilliantly for me here's some tips Before you begin, wash it, dry and then put mineral oil all over it such as baby oil or parafin oil, a thick layer! Let it sit, come bace 10 mins later and spread what has not been soaked up over the entire plate. Continue untill all is soaked up. Then it will function much better when you start. It will make it even better if you continue this treatment now and then epsecially in the beginning. This trick also work with name brand expensive gel plates that can also be difficult to break in. To get your print off easily rub the paper and warm it up gently with a hairdyer on medium setting for ca 1 and ½ to 2 minutes then peel the paper off slowly, like you would with masking tape. Works extremely well with soft pastels, much better then the exspensive ones, makes stunning prints. Dont bend the plate too roughly or scratch not as sturdy as the exspensive ones
